Benefit 'Nice Package' Haul

14:32 Unknown 0 Comments

Recently I was having a little look for some new makeup and came across Benefits website - I have had some products from Benefit before but not anything recently. As I was looking through and keeping out the cult favourites - Hoola bronzer etc. I noticed the 'Nice Package' offer and just couldn't resist.

You choose one product from each category, I went for:

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow! Foundation - Ivory 'I'm Pure 4 Sure'
Hoola Bronzer
Fakeup Concealer - Light '01'
Creaseless Cream Shadow - No Pressure! 'Rich Fawn'

The set also comes with a makeup bag and some samples which we aren't going to turn down!

I think that this set is such a cute idea and so great for someone like me who wants to give some products a go. There was a great selection of their products in the categories to choose from so there is something for everyone to have a go of.

18th Birthday - The Outfits

09:17 Unknown 0 Comments

My 18th Birthday was at the start of September and I had two nights out - one at home and one in Edinburgh. I really loved both dresses I wore and thought I'd share them with you. Both dresses were from Boohoo and only about £20 each.
Enjoy!

Friday

On my actual birthday I went out in Durham with my family and family friends and my boyfriend (can be seen above) for some cocktails and food. We started out at Ebony Champagne and Cocktail Bar (http://www.ebonychampagnebar.co.uk/) and then went to Fat Buddha (http://www.fatbuddharestaurant.com/) - we had a lovely night and I could still manage the early morning train!

Saturday

We got the train to Edinburgh with croissants and Bucks Fizz and then checked in at the very nice hotel - we stayed at Angels Share (http://angelssharehotel.com/). After settling in and a lovely bottle of Prosecco we got ready and enjoyed an in house cocktail. We had an amazing meal at a restaurant called Amarone (http://www.amaronerestaurant.co.uk/edinburgh_amarone) and enjoyed some lovely comfy couches alongside splendid cocktails in Tigerlily (http://www.tigerlilyedinburgh.co.uk/).

You may be able to tell that my birthday was a blur of yummy cocktails!

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

12:51 Unknown 0 Comments

Now I don't know about you but for me seeing this packaging instantly makes me very excited.

I have been obsessed with Jo Malone for a little while, particularly how luxurious the products are - buying from Jo Malone is an experience. The simplistic design, the gorgeous packaging and the little touches that just make all the difference. Then of course the amazing and extremely high quality products and I am officially in love.

Jo Malone describes the scent of Pomegranate Noir as
"The sensuality of a daring red dress. Ruby-rich juices of pomegranate, raspberry and plum are spiked with pink pepper and laced with Casablanca lily and spicy woods. Dark and enigmatic"
I thought that this description would be more use than me trying to describe the scent in words other than 'mmmm' which is all I can gather. It just makes you feel like you are in a really luxury spa.

Jo Malone isn't a cheap brand but in this case you really do get what you pay for. The scent are super strong but not in any way overpowering, you only need a couple of sprays or the candle burning for an hour for your room to smell delicious. I was seriously impressed with the intensity of the fragrance and how even having the products out allowed a drift of scent to fill the room. Truly amazing products that will not disappoint.

Thank you so much for reading this post!
Hopefully there will be some more posts up soon as I have been doing some shopping and would love to do a haul post so keep your eyes peeled.
