Saturday Things

Check these amazing nails! I don't think you can beat the feeling of getting your nails done, its just pure satisfaction to be rocking about with fabulous nails. I jumped aboard the trend wagon with these red hearts on my nails this time and I am not disappointed, they are so effective and really catch the eye...lots of compliments if you are getting these done. I chose red since I was feeling inpspired. Red hair, red lips and now, red nails!

Then I went and did something brand new...charity shopping! I have a friend at college that always looks amazing and often when I ask her where she got what she's wearing, she says from a charity shop. So after much envy of her looking so amazing I thought I would venture out of my comfort zone of high street shops and online sites and take a trip to the local charity shops. I picked these two pastel coloured grandma style shirts which are super cute and have little peter pan collars and will look really good in the summer. I also picked up this grey vintage Superdry jumper which may be the softest thing I have ever laid my hands on. And for all three it was under £10 so a real bargain! Very impressed and pleased that I finally gave it a go, and I won't walk past charity shops as often anymore.

So I thought I would just give you a little update on what was new and how I spent my little day out on Saturday. When I got home on Saturday night I also spent lots of money on Boohoo so I will definitely put a fashion haul blog post up when that all arrives.

Thanks for reading, just a little post today but I hope you liked a little insight. Please let me know what you think and check out my other posts. It would mean a lot.

Be Bronzed

What is one of the biggest makeup trends right now? Bronze! And this time round it doesn't just apply to bronzer on your cheeks but bronzed eyes and lips as well!

Now, I, like many others thought that bronzer was more of a makeup product for people who tan well and can pull of a glow. I am very pale and have freckles and pretty much look really bizarre when I can develop a little tan, which isn't often anyway. So when I thought about trying the whole bronze craze out I really wasn't sure how it was going to work for me. But here goes!

This bronzer is just the prettiest thing ever. Beautiful in the compact, beautiful on the brush and beautiful on your face. Stunning! The darkest shade contours, the middle shades highlights and the pink shade makes such a good blush.

Bronzing the eyes so effective, it made my blue eye colour pop and made the whole face immediately brighter. This compact of colour gave you really great selection of bronze colours to work with so that I could still achieve a really great eye look with just one palette. So pleased with the look.

These shots aren't great but they show how effective the bronze was in both areas of my face, in both natural light (left) and artificial light (right) so it is a look that really does work for wherever. I've teamed it with a black flick eyeliner and bright lip because I am going out later so wanted to dress it up more. But its versatile and so you could easily change the look to suit you. Even go for a bronze lip to complete the whole bronze look.

So I just thought I would share with you my experience and also tell you about how great both of these products are at helping you achieve it. The face bronzer in particularly is amazing and well worth the purchase.

I hope you liked the post, if you did like it and maybe even drop me a comment to let me know what you think and what some of your favourite products are. You can see more pictures on my Instagram (@charlottemxo) so feel free to check that out too. Thanks for reading.
